HOW THERAPY CAN HELP

Everyone has things they are dealing with and most of us just about manage to keep our heads above water, well most of the time. But sometimes our problems can spiral out of control and start to overwhelm us especially if more than one life changing event happens at the same time. We feel that we should be able to deal with things better, that its trivial but we all need someone to talk to. When you feel you can’t turn to your friends or family any more that’s when counselling can help. Here are just a few areas where therapy can be effective:

  • If you’re feeling low or depressed
  • Experiencing relationship problems
  • Constant worrying about the people in your life
  • Suffering from anxiety or panic attacks
  • Feeling stressed or overwhelmed
  • Struggling to control you weight
  • Dealing with phobias or irrational fears
  • Feelings of being unable to cope
  • Problems with your own or someone else’s drinking
  • Loss and bereavement
  • Feeling angry or frustrated
  • Self-harm or self-defeating behaviours

If you’re experiencing any of these issues or concerns and want to talk to someone impartial, please contact me.
